T-Camp
Before every fall semester, Texas A&M University’s three-day Transition Camp, known as T-Camp, welcomes transfer students and teaches them all about life at Texas A&M.
Besides teaching new transfer students about our university, T-Camp gives you a chance to have fun and meet other Aggies before starting classes. The extended orientation program is held at the Lakeview Methodist Conference Center near Palestine, Texas, and attendees ride a bus from campus to the conference center. The idea for T-Camp came from students who wanted an orientation experience like Fish Camp for transfer students.
T-Camp is led by students passionate about making the transition process successful for everyone. Counselors, crew members and staff have personal experience with transferring to a new campus. This means they can offer important advice about things like classes and fun things to do in Bryan-College Station. They can also answer any other questions new students may have about being an Aggie.
